Blue Water Charters specialize in custom designing your private diving experience to fit your individual needs.  We take ALL the stress out of your dive planning!   With your input, our dive planning specialists will organize all the details for you or your group prior to your arrival.

To best fit your comfort and budget, we offer two affordable private dive charter boats.
Both boats comfortably accommodate up to six passengers with 2-3 tanks per diver.  Best of all, no need to worry about transportation to and from the dive boat, finding parking, or lugging your dive gear down Duval Street!   We can provide complimentary transportation should you need it.

Whether you prefer wrecks or reefs, we’ve got just what you’re looking for! Just a few miles south of Key West are reef systems filled with mounds of brain corals, caves, and sprawling ledges. And the deeper you go, the bigger and older the brain corals get! And just to our east is the awesome underwater attraction of the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. This is a great place to check out the larger creatures such as spotted eagle rays, reef sharks, and loggerhead turtles. No wonder it’s described as the third greatest live coral ecosystem in the world! Haven’t had enough… how ‘bout , we head over to the nearby wreck of the Adolphus Busch, the Keys newest wreck sank for the benefit of diving in 1998. She hasn’t been down for   long, but she’s made lots of new friends including a few large jewfish! Max depth is about 110, with the decks ranging from 45-60 feet.

Happy Customers!

Hope you remember me!  I'm the Instructor from Raleigh that taught the O2 class back on May 12th and 13th.  As you probably remember, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly great diving we had on the Portofino.  Well, it took a while but I didn't forget you.

Thanks for one of the best diving experiences I've had in a long time.  And on Key West!  I've been diving for sixteen years and had crossed Key West off my list long ago.  Like most of my friends, I decided that Key West was a scuba graveyard of dead coral and worn out dive sites. You changed my view in one dive, and then followed it up with even more.  Key West has great dive sites - if your captain knows where to go and wants to take you there!   Blue Water was also able to adapt their charters to the needs of experienced divers, unlike the majority of other dive operators on the island.  Now that I know about Blue Water Charters, Key West is back on the "must" list for ALL of my clients!

I am writing to thank you for the fantastic trip we had with you guys Saturday, July 20, 2002. Not only was this my first vacation in over four years, but it was my first trip to Key West and my first time snorkeling a reef. I am still in awe of all the beautiful things I saw! What a thrill it was to stand at the top of the boat and look out over the ocean! I realize you guys go out on the boats every day and may be somewhat "immune," but I want you to know that it truly was the most memorable part of my entire vacation! I am now seriously considering getting my diving certification so I'll be able to enjoy it more next time.

I want to personally thank Jeff for a "guided tour" of the reef and for his expert snorkeling advice. I think I got a really good picture of you standing at the front of the boat and will email it as soon as it gets developed. Good luck to you in your art career!

I will be back to visit Key West and I will definitely book my entire vacation around a trip with Blue Water Charters.

And More!

.....Just want to take a few moments to thank you for a most enjoyable and memorable two days with you and your deck hands. My initial perceptions of you and your professional experience based on your Website was everything I expected plus more. My sons and I are most appreciative of all your efforts and the sharing of your oceanic experiences. We look forward to chartering with you again. In the meantime, I have shared this experience with my associates, so don't be suprised if we make contact in the very near future to arrange a 2 or 3 day charter. Once again, thank you for all the courteous you showed us and sharing with us some NEAT and COOL fishing and diving locations.....Don
